Specialist knowledge and expert advice in understanding and managing ADHD

Our training packages provide a holistic learning experience in understanding and managing ADHD. Our aim is to give learners an opportunity to see ADHD from the perspective of those who live with and care for those with ADHD.

ADHD is explained using evidence based knowledge. Clear, practical approaches to its management are given to suit learners from education, health and other agencies working with children and young people.

Our training will help learners to:

  • clarify and dispel myths around ADHD
  • identify the triggers and behaviours associated with the characteristics of ADHD
  • make positive interventions to successfully support children and young people with better managing their lives.

We provide a range of structured, tailored training for schools, colleges and agencies working with people with ADHD.

Tailored training packages begin with basic awareness training, Myths & Facts and identification of the characteristics of ADHD. We then look at medication, classroom management, executive functioning, organisation, planning, transition, and play.

The training is tailored to what is required by the school, education provider or agency.

Suitable for:

  • Agencies working with parents, children, young people, families and adults living with ADHD
  • Connexions Personal Advisers
  • Health Professionals
  • Mentors
  • Community Groups
  • Leisure Services
  • Emergency Services
  • Youth Offending Teams

In addition, we support work placement providers and employers to understand and manage ADHD and best support the learner in the workplace.

The training can be delivered in sessions ranging from two twilight sessions or a half day training sessions of 2.5 hours to a full day training session.

Our training is provided by our accredited and qualified trainers, from our fully equipped Training Room at our Liverpool base, or from your own preferred venue.
