Take a lookAs part of our growing holistic approach, the ADHD Foundation Neurodiversity Charity is delighted to announce the launch of the new pre-diagnostic screening clinic for Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Irlen Syndrome®.
Prices start from £65, and assessments are undertaken by our in-house therapeutic SENDCo, Rachel Varney.
For more information, send an email to ddi@adhdfoundation.org.uk.
The Dyslexia pre-diagnostic screener provides a detailed profile of the client’s literacy, processing, and memory skills. This individual diagnostic assessment provides a profile of strengths and weaknesses, helping to identify specific areas of difficulty in literacy learning. For children and young people, this knowledge can then be translated directly into an appropriate individual teaching plan.
Benefits of the Dyslexia Screener
The Dyscalculia screener distinguishes between those who have poor maths ability and those with dyscalculic tendencies, providing accurate and reliable outcomes with British
Dyslexia Association Assured status. Strengths and weaknesses will be highlighted, with Standard Age Scores provided as well as recommendations for further assessment.
Benefits of the Dyscalculia Screener
The Irlen Method is non-invasive technology that uses coloured overlays and filters to improve the brain’s ability to process visual information. The screener identifies symptoms and determines how those symptoms may be impacting upon daily life. The foundation’s Irlen® Screener is trained to determine whether an individual has a profile consistent with Irlen Syndrome or not and advise accordingly.
At the ADHD Foundation we offer a full ADHD screen for 18- to 60-year-olds, including rating scales, an interview, and the QbTest or QbCheck.
