Help & Resources

Urgent Support

The ADHD Foundation cannot help in an emergency. However, we have listed ways you can get urgent support below.

NHS Urgent Help

If you need help for a mental health crisis or emergency, you should get immediate expert advice and assessment. 111 will tell you the right place to get help. You may be able to speak to a trained mental health professional over the phone.

Samaritans

The Samaritans operate a free to call service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, if you want to talk to someone in confidence. Call Samaritans on 116 123 or email them at [email protected]

Call 999

If you are concerned about an immediate risk of harm – either to yourself or someone else – then phone 999 immediately.
