Coaching Refund Policy
The ADHD Foundation is committed to providing high-quality coaching courses. We understand that there may be circumstances where participants need to request a refund. This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are granted.
Eligibility for Refunds
Participants may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
Cancellation Before Course Start: If a participant cancels their enrolment before the course begins, they may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
Withdrawal Within Initial Period: Participants who withdraw from the course within 14 days of initially signing up, may request a refund in full.
Course Cancellation by ADHD Foundation: If the ADHD Foundation cancels a course, participants will receive a full refund.
Extenuating Circumstances: Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances such as medical conditions, personal emergencies, or other serious situations.
Procedure for Requesting a Refund
Written Request: Participants must submit a written request for a refund. The request should include the participant’s full name, course details, reason for the refund request, and any supporting documentation.
Supporting Documentation: Relevant documentation should be provided to support the refund request, such as medical certificates, proof of personal emergency, or other evidence.

Review Process
Acknowledgment of Request: Upon receiving the refund request, we will acknowledge receipt within 14 working days of receipt.
Review and Decision: Our administrative team will review the request and the supporting documentation. We aim to make a decision within 21 working days from the date of acknowledgment.
Notification: Participants will be notified of the decision in writing. If the request is approved, details of the refund, including the amount and method of payment, will be provided.
Refund Calculation
Full Refund: Granted if the participant cancels before the course start date or if the course is. cancelled by ADHD Foundation.
Partial Refund: Calculated per unit, minus deposit, administrative fees and any other additional overheads, e.g. accreditation fees not incurred.
No Refund: If the participant withdraws after the specified initial period (or requests a refund after the course has been completed or closed), no refund will be granted.
Terms and Conditions
Refund Methods: Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the initial payment, unless otherwise agreed upon. Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 20 working days of approval.
Non-Refundable Fees: Certain fees, such as registration fees, deposits or materials costs, may be non-refundable.
Refunds following course completion: Refund requests following course closure will be subject to board of trustee scrutiny and decision. We do not limit the timeline for extenuating circumstances decisions to ensure our students are not impacted should they be affected by medical emergencies outside of their control.
Only board-level approval will proceed refunds offered under extenuating circumstances.
Under no circumstances will accreditation be provided, or authorisation to do so by the board of trustees, if a full refund has been issued owing to the cost of per-student accreditation.
A full refund will end all communications between student coaches and the ADHD Foundation.
Confidentiality
All refund requests and supporting documentation will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of assessing the refund request.
Information regarding the student will not be shared external to the organisation, unless explicitly requested by the Charity Commission.
