        Strategies for Educational Success for Neurodiverse Learners

        A conference event for educators by the ADHD Foundation exploring practical strategies to support neurodiversity in the classroom. Lunch is provided.

        The event will be taking place at Dynamic Earth, Holyrood Road, Edinburgh, EH8 8AS

        Conference programme:

        9:00am - 9:30am -  Registration. Tea and coffee served.

        9:30am - 9:45am - Welcome address by Dr Tony Lloyd, CEO of the ADHD Foundation

        9:45am - 10:20am - “An introduction to neurodiversity in education” by Colin Foley, National Training Director at the ADHD Foundation

        10:20am - 11:00am - “Identifying and supporting neurodiversity in the early years” by Emma Weaver, Early Years Lead at the ADHD Foundation

        11:00am - 11:20am - Break. Tea and Coffee served.

        11:20am- 11:50am - "A headteacher's journey towards greater inclusion" by Jennifer Garnes, Headteacher at Strathmore Primary School, Forfar.

        11:50am - 12:30pm - “Strategies to support executive functioning for neurodiverse learners” by Colin Foley

        12:30pm- 1:15pm -  Lunch

        1:15pm - 2:00pm - Dr. Jeremy Fellick, Paediatrician for Glasgow NHS

        2:00pm - 2:40pm - “Learner Anxiety and Comorbidity” by Michael Hussey, Director of School Services at the ADHD Foundation
